Following a successful Stage 2 Audit here at the Casepak MRF, we’ve just received notification that we have attained full ISO Accreditation just six months after becoming operational. This is an outstanding achievement over such a short operational period, especially as the accreditation was issued without any non-conformances. It’s testament to the hard work and diligence of both the MRF team and our Health, Safety & Environmental Manager Elizabeth Mott, who runs an excellent department covering both Leicester facilities.
Our new MRF accreditations are active for three years until February 2015 and cover the receipt and processing of recyclable materials under ISO 14001: 2004 (Environment), ISO 9001: 2008 (Quality) and BS OHSAS 18001: 2007 (Health and Safety). Our Collection and Processing Facility at Enderby, which achieved ISO 14001: 2004 in June 2011, is now working towards both the Quality and Health and Safety accreditations.
Achieving and maintaining these accreditations is an important part of delivering both excellent customer service and excellent resource quality. And while we now have these in place for the next three years, the issues covered remain at the core of all Casepak activities, as this is the only way to ensure we maintain our leading position in the MRF sector.
Well done team Casepak.
