Casepak, one of the UK’s leading recycling and waste management firms based in Leicester, has expanded its team with the appointment of two Weighbridge Administrators.
James Stevenson joins the Casepak team at the Collections and Processing Facility in Enderby, having completed a course in business improvement techniques at his previous place of work, Rieke Packaging.
As part of his new role, James is required to check that the vehicles entering and leaving the facility are weighed correctly. Discussing his position at Casepak, James said: “The opportunity to work at the Enderby weighbridge was one that I could not pass up.”
In his spare time, James is a film buff and also enjoys real ales and ice hockey.
Casepak also welcomes Rowan Dauven to the team. Rowan has recently finished school and has joined Casepak as part of an apprenticeship programme through Leicester College. The programme will give him the opportunity to achieve a qualification in Business Administration while gaining hands-on experience in an ever-expanding company.
Rowan is based at the Materials Recycling Facility, which sorts and separates dry mixed recyclables. Speaking about his new venture, Rowan commented: “Casepak is a fantastic family business with high standards and I’m excited to be part of the team.”
Away from work, Rowan is a keen football fan and enjoys refereeing matches.
Georgina Cullen, Business Development Director, said: “We are looking forward to working with James and Rowan and helping Rowan work towards his qualification. They will both make a valuable contribution to the smooth running of weighbridges at both of our sites.”
