Steve Guy, environmental officer, Garnett Dickinson Print
“We are extremely happy with the service provided by Casepak. The staff are always willing to help and are very accommodating.”
Garnett Dickinson is an award-winning commercial print organisation specialising in the production of high quality magazines, catalogues and brochures. The company wanted to improve its waste management processes to increase recycling, reduce costs, minimise environmental impacts and achieve zero waste to landfill.
Following a comprehensive waste audit, Casepak developed a new waste management policy for Garnett Dickson which would deliver the objectives outlined above. The resulting programme included the installation of new equipment to support a paper waste management system. This comprised an Impact Air extraction system, seven compactor units, one baler and a curtain sided bin to collect paper, cardboard, plastics, cardboard cores and general waste.
Garnett Dickinson has cut waste management costs and improved its recycling performance. The organisation’s environmental impacts have been minimised and it has achieved its zero waste to landfill objective. Casepak continues to work with Garnett Dickson on a programme of continuous improvement.
